  • Mary was born in Vernon, Jennings, Indiana to Thomas and Mary Gustin. She traveled in the company with her parents and siblings. In 1850, she lived in Utah in the household of her brother Amos. Her married surname was "Martin." She lived in California with one of her sons, Alma, during the time when the 1900 census was conducted.
