        • Ann and her children John, Charles, Amelia, Ann, Sarah and Mary sailed to America in 1851 on the ship Ellen.

          Her husband, Charles, was on the 1851 Ellen ship with the Woodhouse family, but he died in July 1851 in Illinois.  Her son, Norman, was also on the ship, but he died in August 1851 in Missouri.

          Birth and death dates are confirmed by her burial record and Find A Grave website.
