Notes

1. On 24 June 1974, the Presiding Bishopric was called to direct the youth of the Church. In doing this, the Young Men General Presidency was dissolved. In 1977, the Young Men General Presidency was reinstated. See “Priesthood to Direct Youth of the Church,” Church News, 29 June 1974.

2. In 1977, the youth programs were altered. There was a new Young Men presidency called and the name became the Young Men’s organization. See “Youth Programs are Refined,” Church News, 21 May 1977.
