Cannon letter copy book, 1871–1879, which contains copies of extensive letters that Cannon sent from Washington D.C. to Brigham Young, John Taylor, and Daniel Wells in Utah. Cannon was a member of the United States House of Representatives at the time; many of his reports describe events and political proceedings related to the Church and the Utah Territory.
