The Young family arrived in New York on 14 May 1861 via the ship The Manchester. Her mother's obituary indicates that they continued on the overland portion of their journey that same year as part of the Ira Eldredge Company.
Her given name is spelled "Adah" on the 1861 ship Manchester manifest and the 1880 Utah census and her surname is "Ware" on the death certificate and Find A Grave website.
