Secondary sources indicate that Jens and Bodil may have traveled to Utah with Bodil's sister's family, Anders and Inger Peterson, in the 1866 Rawlins pioneer company. However, their names do not appear on the Rawlins company rosters. Further evidence from a "primary source" is needed to confirm this information.
In some sources her given name is spelled "Boel." The inscription on her gravestone shows her name as "Bodil Maria Jensen."
