Jens Jorgensen Jensen

Jens and Bodil Marie sailed to America in 1866 on the ship Kenilworth.  Their surnames are listed as "Jorgesen" on the ship manifest.

Evidence from emigration and church records proves that Jens and his wife Bodil traveled to Utah in 1866. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company they traveled with.

Secondary sources indicate that Jens and Bodil may have traveled to Utah with Bodil's sister's family, Anders and Inger Peterson, in the 1866 Rawlins pioneer company.  However, their names do not appear on the Rawlins company rosters.  Further evidence from a "primary source" is needed to confirm this information.
