Caleb Hersey Davis, Jr.
Initially came to the Valley with Joseph Mecham and others in 1850. Several years later, he crossed the plains again as a teamster for Homer Duncan's out-and-back company in 1862.
Birth date confirmed by Utah Stake City Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 11 September 1852. In many records (including the Utah Stake City Ward records), he is listed with the surname of Mecham, as he was living with Joseph Mecham.
