Carl Heinrich Weist

Carl traveled with his wife (Ernestine) and baby (Ernest). They arrived in New York City via the ship Teutonia​ on 8 March 1867, along with some of Ernestine's family. Baby Ernest died before the family left with the Loveland Company in 1868, but a baby girl, named Caroline was born just prior to their departure.

His  travel to Utah in 1868 is confirmed by the obituary of Ernestine.
