
Elias Jones
Elias traveled with his second wife, Hannah, and his children. They crossed the ocean by way of the ship S. Curling. His daughter, Hannah, died on 2 May 1856, just prior to the company leaving Iowa City. In 1860, the Jones family was listed on census records as living together in Utah. His birth date and death date are confirmed by the inscriptions on his gravestone.
His travel to Utah in 1856 is confirmed by his obituary.
