Elizabeth Bateman
Although her name appears on a Pace company "roster" in Journal History, that is a non-contemporary typescript list lacking documentation. It is more likely that she came in the 1850 Livingston and Kinkead company as recounted in her obituary.
The 1850 Utah census was taken in the Spring of 1851. Elizabeth was married to Phillip Margetts by this time, so her name is listed as "Elizabeth Margetts" on the census.
Her birth date is confirmed by the record of her rebaptism in Salt Lake City on 15 February 1852.
