Elizabeth Brough
Elizabeth, a widow, and her daughters, Emma and Lousie, emigrated to the United States on the ship Ellen Maria. She is listed on the ship's manifest as Elizabeth Bacon. During the voyage Elizabeth met and married George Brough.
She traveled to Utah with her husband and two children. The Brough family began their journey with the 1852 Outhouse Company. However, that company experienced divisiveness and for much of the way, each ten in the company traveled independently. Lang captained one of those tens and the Broughs traveled with him. Though this family is not specifically mentioned in Outhouse company records, they were part of William Hudson's traveling group, (William was Elizabeth's brother) as is confirmed by the notation that the Hudson group consisted of four adults and four children.
Birth date and death date listed were found in a personal, online family history record (such as Family Tree, Ancestry, or My Heritage) without any accompanying documentation. Further research is needed to verify its accuracy.
