Elizabeth Francis

Evidence from emigration, genealogical and census records proves that the Elizabethand her brother Samuel John Francis traveled to Utah in 1866. They sailed to American on the ship Arkwright in 1866, but the first documentation to place them in Utah is the marriage of Elizabeth 18 March 1867, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to determine and the name of the company they traveled with.

Her birth and death years are confirmed by the inscription on her gravestone in Utah.
