George Elliott

The Elliott family came to Utah in 1860 or 1861.  The obituary of Edwin Elliott states that the family moved from England, to France, then to Australia, and then on to California. Edwin Elliott came to Utah alone, and later returned to California to bring the rest of the family to Utah. The family appears in the 1860 California census, dated 19 July 1860. Edwin's obituary states that the family moved to Provo in 1861. Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company they traveled with. 

George's death date is confirmed by his death certificate.
