Henry Laird Jenkins

Son of James Hardie Jenkins and Janet Laird Jenkins.  They crossed the Atlantic on the ship Cynosure in 1863.  The company with which the crossed the plains was noted in local church financial records.  Henry's birth date is confirmed by records of the Crofthead Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Edinburgh, Scotland (see Early Church Information File at the Church History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah).
