She was rebaptized in Salt Lake City on 8 August 1847.
The Crow family first left Mississippi for the Valley in 1846, arriving in 1847. At some point they continued on to California because they are seen on the trail again in 1857, traveling eastward, back to Utah. Her father, Robert, captained his own company for that trip.
