Jane Jenkins

Jane's name appears on the 1850 Iowa census with her son Thomas.  The first documentation to place her in Utah is a church ordinance performed on 2 May 1860, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration.  Therefore, we know that she arrived in Utah by 1859.  However, it is  very likely that she came to Utah with her son Thomas in 1852, as a secondary source indicates.

Her son David came to Utah in 1850 with the William Snow/Joseph Young pioneer company.
