John Warren Henry

Sources differ about John's birth date. New Family Search says it occured on 22 December 1852 while his obituary gives the date 26 December 1852. John was born in Utah, but went with his family to San Bernardino, California soon afterwards. His mother died there on 6 July 1856. John, his father and two sisters then appear in the 1860 Utah census at Fillmore. Obituaries of John's sister Mary Ann indicate that the family arrived in Fillmore in 1856; but the History of Millard County, Utah says they arrived there in 1857. The latter date seems most likely given the approach of Johnston's army that year. Additional research is needed to discover the exact year and the name of the company with which the Henrys traveled back to Utah.
