Joseph Hyrum Daniels Brown

The Brown family arrived in New York on 23 June 1864 via the ship General McClellan. 

Birth date confirmed by Sugarhouse Ward records at the time of a rebaptism on 1 October 1865. Early records (ship manifest and Sugarhouse records) list his given name as "James." However, later in life, it seems as if he began using the name of Joseph.
