Lovira Myril Dayton
Church ordinance records prove that Lovira was in Utah by 16 November 1851, the date she was re-baptized (her surname was spelled "Daton" in the Salt Lake Stake Record of Members.) In the 1856 Utah Territorial census she is "Lovisa" Dayton a resident of "St. One City," Utah. Other family members are there as well. Lovira is buried at Cedar Fort, Utah under the name "La Vira Myrl Dayton Dockstader. Further research is needed to determine the year she came to Utah and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled. Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her obituary.
