Mary Dana Ballam

Evidence from newspaper records prove that the Ballam family traveled to Utah in 1858 or 1859. Further research is needed to determine year they traveled to Utah and the name of the company they traveled with.

The inscription on her gravestone in California shows her name as "Mary D. Rockwood," and it confirms the years of her birth and death.
