The Singleton family came to America in 1864 on the ship Hudson, and her name is listed as "Emma M." on the ship manifest.
Her name is listed as "Malinda Huntington" on the 1870 Utah census and the Find a Grave index, but the gravestone inscription clearly shows her given name as "Melinda."
