Quincey C. Simons
The Simons family is seen in Missouri at the time of the 1860 census (enumerated 4 August 1860) and in Payson at the time of rebaptisms performed on 19 April 1863, which was prior to that year's emigration season. Emily's obituary confirms that they traveled to Utah in 1861.
It is assumed that because of his young age, Quincey was with the rest of the family in 1861. However, first documentation to place him in the Valley is a rebaptism in the Payson Ward on 3 December 1865.
