
Sóren Christensen
Soren traveled to the Salt Lake Valley in 1864. His mother, Kirsten Petersen, is found in the Perpetual Emigrating Fund records on 15 October 1863, and he and his mother are found in the Logan 1st Ward records in 1864 and 1865. Further research is needed to identify which company he and his family traveled with.
Soren is found as Lars Soren Petersen on the ship registers of the Monarch of the Sea, which traveled from Liverpool to New York from 28 April-3 June 1864. Also found on the ship registers were his mother and siblings Alma Franklin Nelson, Carrie Christina Petersen, and Nels Nelson.
