  • Mary and her children arrived in New York via the ship Amazon on 18 July 1863. The Perpetual Emigration Fund records place them in the valley by 15 October 1863. Family tradition recorded in Faith and Fortitude, indicate they traveled as part of the Samuel D. White Company, but further research is needed to verify that. Her husband, Thomas Davies, emigrated to Utah in 1864 and is on the Unidentified 1864 Company. Some records spell their surname "Davis".

Birth and death date is confirmed by her burial record.
