Line of Authority

for priesthood holders

Customers who wish to have their priesthood line of authority traced should use either of the following contacts. Please supply as much detailed information as you remember about the event, i.e. full names, dates, locations, etc.

Lines of authority are determined by the priesthood office held at the time the ordination took place. For example, a high priest who ordains a deacon or elder should follow his high priest line of authority, not his line of authority as a deacon or elder. Those who are ordained to the office of Bishop should use their high priest line of authority.
