Betsey Jane Tenney

Widow. She was listed as "Jane Luce," in the (Emigration List for Spring, 1860) company roster and on the 1860 Census. Betsey traveled in the same company as her mother (Eliza L. Webb Tenney), sister (Eliza La Mercha Tenney), her brother (Warren Reed Tenney) and sister-in-law (Julia Amanda Phelps Tenney). 

More research is needed to confirm Betsey's dates of birth and death. Birth date listed reflects family tradition from Family Tree at FamilySearch.org and Betsey's headstone. A newspaper article infers that Betsey died on the 15 January. However, family tradition, and Betsey's headstone state that she died 14 January 1904. At this time, data from the newspaper article will be used.
