Came on the ship Westmoreland in 1857 with his parents and siblings.  He is the son of Hans Ancher Kofoed and Cecelia Munch. He was also known as Christopher Antone Kofford in some records. He is not listed on the emigration list or in the Journal history, however he is married in Utah in 1861 to Harriet Brown.  Further research is needed to confirm his place in this company, however because the rest of the Kofoed family is listed it has been assumed he traveled with them and was accidently left off the emigration report.
