Dorothy Howarth

Although not directly listed in the memorandum book, Ellen Howarth (Dorothy's mother) purchased enough food rations for five people.  According to New York passenger lists, the Howarth’s traveled from Liverpool to New York aboard the Colorado, arriving 28 July 1868.

While traveling within the company Dorothy met John Beagley, a teamster for the company.  They married just after the company's arrival in the Salt Lake valley in 1868.

Surname on death certificate and 1880 census is her married name of "Ostler".
