Lydia Knight Mecham

Lydia crossed the plains with her family. The obituary of Martha confirms the family's travel to Utah in 1852.

She later married James Herbert and had four children. She is buried in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah.

Her birth and death dates are confirmed by the inscription on her gravestone, which shows her name as "Lydia Herbert."  Her death date is also confirmed by her death certificate.
